I vividly remember this scene from the 1988 American version, and another scene where the kids are all in barrells about to go down a huge waterfall. Pippi seems more intimidating/manly in this version. I think its her gruff voice. They should do a remake with Lindsay Lohan—she would be perfect!

I had all of these Pippi VHS tapes, but just realized tonight while perusing YouTube that the voices are dubbed, and most likely all done by the same person (sounds like a young girl?!) At some points in the clip the actors seem to be covering their mouths while they speak, I wonder if they were told to do that!

Joe burned this CD for me. Most of it makes me want to dance silly around a living room. Other tracks are almost too 80’s for me to handle, but other than that… me likey.
